Personal Interests & Projects

I maintain a Proxmox environment on an IBM m4 x3650 server running multiple VM services such as mail, Nextcloud, Fireguard firewall, Pi Hole DNS, Website Hosting, FTP server, and network attached storage. I also manage a Cisco 2960 switch to provide gigabyte internet to the whole house using ubiquity POE access points which is also managed via the IBM server.

I have a small in house work shop with a PLC for at home practice, a Creality K1C for modeling and printing projects I work on. I’ve completed several small projects such as making a standing robot with balancing using servos and a Raspberry PI, and a PLC project where I made a mini assembly line with a belt and sensors for part sorting.

I study machine learning and neural networks to be used in my projects. I mostly study convolutional neural networks for image and pattern recognition. I have used this in some projects such as face recognition in a security system.
